Turkish Superman

Yeah, so... the WASTE Radio team are all resting today after Lovebox - you'll be able to listen to what we got up to there in a week or so after we've been to Secret Garden...

In the mean time, I would like to draw your attention to this little snippet of cinematic genius that originates from no other place than my own land-of-the-mother, Turkey. Dubbing Superman obviously didn't cut it for my kebab-knife wielding countrymen, so they decided to make the whole thing again in Turkish with a millionth of the original budget. A tall order, I hear you say. Well, take a look at this...

Lady Christina and I met a man with a tipi who took a liking to us and gave us these rather fetching Mexican rugs.

We went to watch Buraka Som Sistema in them and found that not only did we look fucking cool but they were extremely handy for pissing in public.

Unfortunately we later found out they were only on loan so we had to give them back....hopefully they didn't smell of urine.

Ahhh yes....friday night out with the WASTEradio crew....we like nothing more than to have a nice quiet drink, find an old lipstick on the floor and write DUTTY on our chests.

So, summer is here...well, the best it can be in England...but this means it's time for large amounts of fun at all the festivals that our country has to offer.

WASTEradio will be getting lyrical in our little red caravan called Malcome at LOVEBOX on July 19th and 20th....then we'll be doing it all over again a few days later at SECRET GARDEN PARTY on July 24th-27th...yeah? Yeah!
